Intake Form

Once the vet referral form has been signed and emailed to info@riseupchirotx.com, we will connect with you to schedule the first visit. At that time we will also send you a link to fill out the intake forms for your pet.

Equine Skeletal System

The skeletal system provides a framework for your horse, which provides support, protection and the ability to move. It is vital to proper locomotion that the vertebra of the spine, as well as all other joints, are in proper alignment to allow for fluid motion free of pain.

Equine Muscular Sytem

Skeletal muscles attach to the bones and allow for proper movement and posture. Muscles are also used to stabilize joints so that they don’t collapse under load during movement. Each muscle fiber is innervated by nerve fibers that change chemical energy into mechanical energy and cause the muscle to contract, which is why chiropractic care is vital to allow for proper use and function of the musculoskeletal system.

Equine Nervous System

The nervous system is made up of the brain, the spinal cord and all of the nerves that innervate every tissue and organ in the body. Without a fully functioning nervous system, your horse would not move or function at its highest potential. This is the underlying factor that drives chiropractors to locate, analyze and correct vertebral subluxations in your horse’s spine!
